Hi everybody! Yesterday I went to a volcano! (Mrs. Brennan, you would have loved it!) It was so beautiful! The car that we rode in wasn't four wheel drive so we had to walk a mile and a half totally up hill. But when we got to the top it was unlike anything I have ever seen! The volcano was active and smoking. I could see a little bit of lava. We were only allowed to stay at the top for 20 minutes because of the fumes. Also when we got to the top the weather changed. It was twenty degrees cooler than down the mountain.
When we first reached the top the clouds were completely covering the view of the crater. My dad asked me to pray for the clouds to move so that we could see it. (My parents always ask me to pray for the weather, because God answers my prayers for the weather). I prayed, and God moved the clouds within minutes.
I wish you were all there to see it with me. You are all in my prayers.
